ok...finally got it

As you can now see the Blog title is now posted. I'm going to try to blog as much as possible during my trip to Myrtle Beach next week. I'm bringing my camera so I'll be posted as many pics as possible. I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!

Can't get my new title to post

I'm in the process of updating the look of my blog today. I've got a new title for the top of the blog but I'm at school and I can't get it to load. I'm going to try again at home.

I'm at GWMS today. I'm hoping that today will be my last day of subbing. I don't know if I'll get a job tomorrow or Friday being that those are the last two days of school. Teachers know that students are a little crazy right now and so, of course, they aren't apt to miss school a lot. Secretly, I hope this is my last day. I have a lot of stuff to pack and get ready for our trip!

its already been a long week

Maybe its because I'm looking forward to the weekend even more than normal...or maybe its because I'm trying to eat as few carbs as possible...but either way, its been a long week and its only tuesday! This Saturday we are going to Myrtle Beach!! Brian and Jessica are going with us...and I'm really excited about it! YAY!

Brian called Jesse tonight and asked if he would want to leave on Friday night instead of Saturday morning...and we are going to stay in Asheboro, NC :) YAY! This means I probably won't have to drive! I hate driving.

Yesterday I subbed at Winfield Middle School. It was a CRAZEEEE day. I was supposed to sub for an 8th grade language arts teacher. However, when I got there she was there and said that they didn't really need me to sub for her. I wondered if they would send me home...but they had me go to the VP's office. She asked me to go to the library and watch 4 ISS students in there. They had so many kids in ISS that they wouldn't fit in their normal room.

So. I loved that. The kids just sat there and worked...and I played on the computer. It was great.

BUT...........................

a little after lunch the principal came in and asked me to go to Mrs. Runion's classroom. Unfortunatly... Mrs. Runion is the BD teacher! AHHHHHHHHHHHH!

It was crazy insane in there. I can't go into all the stuff that they did and do because of confidentiality crap, but...take my word for it....those kids need a severe beating.


Today I had a super easy day. I was again at Winfield Middle but this time I was the Health teacher. The 8th graders weren't there because they were at Step-up day and a class picnic. And 2/3's of the 7th graders were at Field day outside. So, it was a very nice and easy day of watching Health videos.


Tomorrow I'm subbing for a 7th grade math teacher. fun fun fun. Almost done now..... 3 more days and I'll be on my way to the beach!

lifes a beach!

Jesse and I went to the gym first thing this morning. I got on the eliptical again and I ran on the treadmill a bit too.

Then we went to the beach...It was a very nice day again today. I finished my newest James Patterson book, "Sundays at Tiffany's" I read it in about a day and a half. There were jellyfish EVERYWHERE!! They are just the little guys with no tenticles so I assume that they don't sting...but yesterday Jesse got stung by one on his leg. It didn't seem to hurt him too much, but I still don't like those creepy little things. They look like balls of snot.

So, we went to the pool and had a good time.

For dinner we drove down to Nags Head. First we stopped at Jockey's Ridge State Park which boasts the largest sand dunes on the East coast. It was pretty neat...the dunes are enormous. I wanted to walk up the hill, but it didn't happen.

Then we were off to find some dinner... first we stopped at a seafood bufft called "Carolina Seafood" It looked like a hole in the wall, yucky, yuk, yuk..... and then our waitress was about 104 and she threw down a dirty-lookin', wet plastic bowl on the table. I think my Mom was grossed out and then the waitress told us that the buffet was $29.99. We decided to leave.

Then we drove right down the road to place called Awful Arther's. It looked SOOOO much better! In fact, it must have been a lot better because there was a 2 hour wait!! It was already 7 pm and 9 seemed like a looong way away. So, again, we left.

Finally we stopped at a place (where I had been wanting to go all week!) called "Barefoot Bernie's" There was only a 20 minute wait. I had the Santa Fe Salad. Jesse had a Philly Cheesesteak. My Dad had what they call Grouper in a bag...and my Mom had a BBQ Chicken Salad, which she LOVED. Mine was good...and I tasted Jesse's and it was tasty too!! We also got chips and guacamole dip for an appetizer. They also brought out a bagette with olive oil dipping oil. (ps...I still have garlic breath) Anyway, it was a great little restaurant.

Tomorrow Jesse and I will be leaving here :( But I can't wait to see my lil Kitsy!!

it did! The Sun Came Out!!

Today was a great beach day! Jesse and I skipped working out (and its probably a good thing cause my hammies were screamin'! from the eliptical!) We headed over to the beach around 11ish and we stayed out there for a good while.

After that we came back to the room, had sandwiches and then went to the pool.

After all the outdoor fun...we got prettied up and drove to Duck. Yes, thats right. There is a town here on the Outer Banks called Duck. Duck seems like a more upscale area. There is a lot of shopping there and some outstandingly beautiful homes.

We ate dinner at a little BBQ place called "Sooey's" It was SO good! I had beef brisket and it was delicious!! Jesse had a pulled pork sandwich and I tasted it and it was wonderful too! YUM!!

After dinner we went to a shopping area called The Waterfront Shops...They are right on the sound and it was a beautiful view of the sunset

Yesterday I bought some Salt Water Taffy....and I can't keep my hands outta it!!

After the rainy first day... we went to dinner at a restaurant called Miller's. It was WAY overpriced and not that good. The salad was good. Jesse and I shared a meal called the Broiled Sampler. It had flounder, scallops, shrimp, and a crab cake.

After dinner we walked over to a fishing pier. It was a really nice view...but the pier was kinda crooked and everyonce in awhile the boards were creaky. Mom and Jesse were freaked out. It was a little creepy.

I have some pictures that I took on the pier...but I accidently took them on my camera internal memory and I don't have anyway to get them on my laptop right now.

I'll get those up when I can.

booo...rainy day

Today we woke up pretty early...the neighbors were slightly loud! Then we went over to the fitness center where I got on an eliptical machine for 20 minutes. When I got off my legs felt like jell-o.





There was only one treadmill and some old lady was on it. The other 2 were out of order.





After this...it was looking a little cloudy...but it appeared to be clearing a little. So we decided to head over to the beach anyway. As soon as we got there Jesse and I spread out our blanket and went on a walk. We had walked around 10 minutes maybe when we decided to turn around.





Right then....the sky starting spitting a little rain on us. It wasn't bad. The weather was a little cool, but the ocean was FREEZING!! We kept running to stay out of the waves. When we made it back to our blanket, we sat for a few minutes...and then we heard THUNDER!! Dark clouds rolled through and we rolled outta there!





That was around 12:30. Since then we've been sitting around the "villa". Jesse's taking a little snooze.

we have arrived!

Well... we made it here to the Outer Banks. Its late on Sunday evening right now...

Its quite different than Mytle Beach, thats for sure. So far...its pretty nice! We got here around 4 pm and then we went to dinner at a place called "Pizzazz Pizza Company" We had a "deluxe" which was a pizza with green peppers, onions, ham, olives, jalapenos, sausage and pepperoni. It was VERY good! So good, in fact, I had 3.5 slices!!! I blew the diet today!!

After dinner we went to the Foodlion to get groceries. Then we drove over to see the beach. It was very nice. Today was very cloudy and cool. Its supposed to get over 90 degrees later this week though. They're forcasting possible showers tomorrow and tuesday but I think it'll be fine!

Tomorrow Jesse and I are planning on waking up around 9 and going to work out. This place has a really nice gym. After that....if its nice, then I guess we'll be off to the beach!

Its Road Trip Time!!

As this blog post is being published I am currently riding in Jesse's Acura, following my Dad and Mom in their Toyota to the Outer Banks of North Carolina.... We are finally on our way!! We should be arriving at our resort at around 4 pm. Wahooo! I can't wait to write more about it!

beach tomorrow!!!

Yay! I'm leaving for the beach tomorrow. As I type now I am sitting in my living room with Jesse and my mom and dad and we are watching the Women's gymnastics Olympic Trials. These girls are good!





Earlier we ate at Monte De Rey and then we went to McDonald's and got dessert. I got a vanilla cone! YUM!





Kitsy is so sweet and laying right beside me! I'm really gonna miss her this week!





I was told the other day by Jesse's brother (Hi Mike!) that he really enjoyed reading my blog lately...until he read about my vomit the other day! haha.. of course I laughed but I want to say that I'm sorry if I grossed anyone out. I hope Mike continues to read the blog..haha. From now on if I'm going to be nasty I'll (try to) warn you first.

Yesterday I worked literally nonstop packing and cleaning from the time my feet hit the floor around 9 am until 2 am when I went to bed. I was thankful today that I got all that stuff accomplished yesterday though. I was able to rest a bit today. Jesse and I went to the library and I picked up a few James Patterson books for the beach. Then we went to the Goodwill for old times sake.





Now its around 11 and my parents are getting ready for bed. Jesse and I will probably be up a little later....tomorrow we'll be up around 8 am and on the road by 9:30!! I can't wait... I think I'm mostly excited about going someplace different, someplace I've never been before.





Don't worry!.... Jesse's bringing his laptop so I should be able to blog a bit while we're there! Pray for us to have a safe trip tomorrow!





Good Night!

sick day!

Hahahaha! I felt terrible this morning when I woke up. It must have been from my birth control pills..they used to make me feel sick in the morning a lot. Since I switched to low dose I only feel sick every once in awhile. But..this morning was one of those times.

I tried to get ready for work and I even put a little makeup on. Then I got a sick feeling in my belly and I had to go to the bathroom, if you catch my drift. Then I got REALLY nasty feeling and I dry heaved over the toilet. Then I threw up something that looked like raw egg whites. I thought it was over...and then, I threw up something that looked like a raw egg yolk!! It was disgusting, but I had to share. I don't know what in the world it could have been because I ate Pop Secret 100 Calorie Kettlecorn last night. I just can't figure out where that yellow color came from....maybe the peach I ate, I dunno.


So.. I felt that it was a good excuse to call into work! I didn't go to Cracker Barrel and I'm glad that I had another whole day to mess around. But..mark my words, I'll get a crappy section tomorrow because of it... probably in the smoking section. I was supposed to work only 11 to 2:30 today...and thats what I'm scheduled for tomorrow too. I'm so glad that I'm almost done with that place.

After I started to feel better I got ready and Jesse and I went to the Bank, Kmart, and we dropped off a bunch of old clothes at the Goodwill. After that we came home and had ham sandwiches and then went to the pool! I love my bikini so much that I wore it again!

After the pool I did my Self; Scupt Sexy Legs Fast DVD. Its crazy how much easier it is now than the first couple of times I did it. I'm sure my legs will still be sore tomorrow though! Jesse did part of it with me the other day...and his hamstrings were so sore!! hahaha.

We balanced our bathroom scale today...by that I mean we put Jesse's weights on them to see how accurately they were weighing. We found out that they were actually a little heavy. So I fixed it...and when I weighed myself I was quite pleasantly surprised! I weigh less now than I can ever remember... It was kinda funny cause I remember feeling skinny when Jesse and I got married. We watched our wedding video today and my face looked a little chunky! I always look fatter in pictures and videos, but I was heavier then than now for sure. I think I was sround 122 lbs on the wedding day.

Anyway... we ate dinner and then I packed a lot of bathroom stuff and I packed up almost all of my closet.

I'm getting SO excited about going to the Outer Banks! We will be leaving on Sunday!! Here are some photos of where we are going... The decorations are a little outdated, but... hey, the parents are paying!

I saved the best for last! YAY! I can't wait!
