way too busy to blog!

Oh my goodness. I'm so busy lately that I have to write a post-it note to myself to remember to brush my teeth.

At school I'm always trying to keep my head above water. I feel like I'm always behind and running to catch up. I don't ever have a minute to spare!

My classes have been going pretty well. I'm learning as I go. I still have to find better ways to manage my materials. Eventually I'll find a system that works.

I'm also taking grad classes right now so that has kept me busy while I'm home. Of course, I've still been trying to work out every day....which I'll admit is a challenge!

This past weekend Jesse got his new 47" tv. So, I had planned on having a big football party. I made a TON of finger food. I made pepperoni rolls, sausage balls, cocktail meatballs, cheese ball, cinnamon pretzels, fiesta pinwheels, honeybun cake and homemade vanilla ice cream! It was a little crazy over here being that there were 25+ people and at least 10 kids. The kids didn't really have a place to play so it was a little rowdy.

Last night I started feeling crappy...with a sore throat and sore back. Jesse had been sick all weekend. He gave it to me. I. feel. awful.

So, I got plans ready for a sub. and I'm taking the day off tomorrow. I can't wait to get in the bed and sleep alllllllllllllllllll day tomorrow. I'm beat.

neglected...

This blog is neglected!

I have had lots of time off,....but still my blog remains untouched! What can I say, when its beautiful outside I don't feel like getting on the computer.

I've had a really good week! Because of the West test I only worked 2 days last week. It was SOOO pretty outside so I spent a lot of time laying in the sunshine. I also finished the last of the Twilight series, Breaking Dawn. I don't know whether to be happy about that or sad.

Yesterday we had a get together with Jesse's family at Alyson's dad's house. We swam with all the kids and then we cooked out and had some brats and pasta salad. :)

Today Jesse and I slept in..late. I kept waking up and going back to sleep until 10:45 this morning.!! Then I ate breakfast....and Jesse and I went for a jog. Then I came back and did my Jillian Michaels' No More Trouble Zones DVD. Now I gotta go get ready to go over to the Valley park to celebrate Jesse's dad's birthday. Its also our anniversary! I got married 7 years ago today! :)

good weekend... minus one hour

So this weekend was "spring forward" AKA daylight savings time. I always hate that weekend. I just always think about how short weekends feel anyway...and this weekend is even shorter!! Why can't they make MONDAY shorter!!!!

We went to Jesse's aunt's "farm" this weekend. They have a bunch of cows....and a big field full of cow poop. They rode a go-cart, a golf cart, and dirt bikes. It was entertaining. We were celebrating Jonathan's birthday. He got a rocket and they launched it twice. It was crazy how high that thing went!! Brian and Jessica came with us.

sUgaR buZz!!!

Church this morning was really good. God ministered to my heart...and I really needed it.

After church we went to my parents house... my honey bun cake made the trip with us.

We hung out there for awhile...then went to Jesse's sister Sarah's house in Hurricane for Jesse's Mom's birthday. She got a digital camera and she loved it! :)

We layed around and watched a little football...Jesse was so happy that his Redskin's won!

After that we came home....and I ate a ton of those pretzels I made...and a bunch of peanut/candy corn mix (which I <3, it tastes like a Payday bar) until I felt sick.

I did my leg workout DVD...and worked on updating and adding to my playlist at www.playlist.com which I can only hope you are enjoying as you read this blog! I know I enjoy it!!! But of course I am the one picking it out.

I haven't got a sub job call yet...which is strange because its a Monday....OK, thats a lie. I did get one call...but it was for an MI (Mentally Impaired for those of you who don't speak teacher) class at Buffalo Elementary and it was only for half a day starting at 7:15 am!....so I decided to reject that one!! We'll see if I get another call!! I may end up with the day off tomorrow.

On tuesday I have 2 half-day jobs at 2 different schools...so thats gonna be crazy. PLUS, I gotta work at the stupid barrel. blah.
