so bored today!

I don't know why I feel so bored. I just don't feel like doing anything. Nothing sounds appealing.

This morning I had a late breakfast...and then Jesse went to play tennis with his ex-boss, Tommy. So I decided to get out the iron, ironing board, sewing machine, and the fabric I bought to make curtains for my classroom. I ironed one panel and hemmed one edge of the panel (130 inches!) and after that I was sick of that. So I put all that away.

Then I thought that I might want to paint....so I got out a little blank wooden sign and painted it white. But then I had to wait for it to dry and I was bored again.

I wanted to go lay outside in the sun and maybe read a bit....but theres no sun. blah.

I thought about running...sounded excruciating.

I need to work out...and I will later, but right now I just can't get motivated to do anything.

So finally I got on Netflix and watched the first episode of Harper's Island. It was pretty good, but I don't want to sit through another episode right now. Maybe later...

In a little bit I'm going to start cooking dinner. We are going to skip eating lunch (after the early breakfast) and eat early since Jesse is going to Maranatha (our church) tonight to play volleyball with Roop and Amanda. I don't do volleyball so I'll probably stay home and do a Jillian Michael's workout DVD. I'm cooking homemade (from scratch) Chicken Alfredo tonight. I'd love to make it with heavy cream and butter.....but tonight's version is going to be a little lighter and use milk and chicken broth. Its still good and still unhealthy with all the parmesan cheese. At least I use whole wheat pasta.

Hi, Erin! I feel your pain! haha After doing all my running/walking/hiking to get ready for Fuji, I have turned into a sloth! haha I bought some new running shoes at Dick's yesterday and hope that gets me motivated. The rain is enough to make anybody want to stay in bed. And the fact that summer is almost gone makes me even more disgusted. Don't feel bad, you are certainly not alone. Just think of all that money you'll soon be raking in with the new job! See, I bet you're smiling already!
Take care,
Lee Ann
